You make a stick from wood.

First of all, I'll let you know that I'm totally neutral towards this. In order for you to start manufacturing a stick, you have to go under Semi-Finished Projects in the Manufacture page. That's where you get to choose to manufacture sticks of different sizes, only requiring wood. They're also known as shafts, so instead of sticks, it'll say "medium-sized shaft," "large-sized shaft" and so on. I think...

Edit: Whoops, I was wrong as I was searching through the projects and was about to correct that when Sho posted. Okay, that's settled then.

The stick is under Tools, because it was originally implemented as a tool to speed papaya collection before it became a primitive bow part. As far as I know this is still the case.

It's also used to collect nuts.

But we have enough of them already.

Look, people have asked you before to stop flaming forum members. Pie gets a lot of teasing (for good reason) but you seem intent on taking it one level lower, and regardless of that being the norm on other forums you visit, it is not the norm here.

So please don't.

Thanks.

This whole topic about shafts and nuts and sticks made me feel slightly dirty.

But then I got to watch you newbies squabbling amongst yourselves, and mightily was I amused.

What I'm wondering, is where the short, medium and long shaft came from.
It's like... "They say this cat Shaft is a bad mutha— Shut yo' mouth!", but which one are they talking about dangit, the short, the medium, or the long?
