Idiot- Swearing and using emoticons

Postby Thetaris » Wed Nov 30, 2005 2:25 am

'Scuse the name I gave him, he deserves it.
Don't know if this is a CR breach, but I'm planning on being an active CR breaching reporter. :P

Anywayz, this guy punches all our animals, and then uses :]. Which doesnt deserve anything but a warning- I can't warn in out of character and tell him about this game because he's ... heh... been thrown in jail, thank god.

You're being an CR nazi at this point.

There is no rule at all about cursing. Characters can say whatever is in character for them. You don't like it, Don't listen.

Emoticons. Again, lowest form of RP, but if that was a benchmark, there would be less than ten percent of the players there are now.

Hitting animals. It's a law in some areas. A law to hit them, all day, every day. No CR breach there.

HOWEVER, if the character is taking actions with the intent to get themselves killed, usually so they can spawn in a new location, then that IS a CR breach, and should be reported in the Suicidal Newspawn thread.

I'm glad you've "reformed". Remember your past before you start holding others to your new standards.
Reality was never my strong point.

Um, I was setting the scene. I was really reporting the emoticon. The swearing is no problem. Either is the animal incident.

Emoticons are regarded as bad form, but tolerated. I don't see what rule emoticons could possibly violate. If you want to be an emoticon nazi, be my guest (I used to be one myself), but don't report them as CR breaches.
