Figure out this code...

Postby Leo Luncid » Thu Nov 24, 2005 7:33 pm

N-E-1 O A V-E R X-A?

Sometimes you may have to guess in order to figure this out.

Here's a hint: "R"=large. They do relate in a certain way, as do all the other letters and numbers.

Once you got that solved, you can make codes for others to solve as well; they just have to be similar to my code.

:? .... Well, there's been seventeen views and two votes and yet no posts... I suppose this is easier than I ever thought it would be...

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't the time to sit down and figure this out. Call me stupid...

Codes were never my thing.

Yeah, sorry I made you do that. I tend to get a little personal and sensitive at times...

Anyways, one may have to use all sorts of methods in order to figure this one out... Nuff said.

If it has anything to do with 1337 at all, I'm through. I quit.

No, it almost absolutely doesn't.

You should've put this in the brain exercise topic...would've brought it back to life...

Heh, all right. I could make some other code there...

Peh, I'll just give this puzzle one more chance for everyone to try and solve. Don't mind me, I'm just bringing up this post once.

I'm afraid I don't know much about code-breaking beyond those simple things like...assigning "e" to the most often occuring letter and then working out the system from there. I've never gotten much enjoyment out of puzzles that can only be solved through trial and error.

Maybe if you dropped a clue on what direction we should search for a solution, Leo...

Meh.

Each letter in a code represents a word with one syllable, except the two sets of letters that have a hyphen in between, which are words with two syllables each. I think that would be enough.

You were right on at least two words. I should point that it's not an acronym at all. Just try saying those letters and numbers, and listen carefully to each one...

Whoops, just realized something, the first three letters and numbers actually represent one word. My bad... Now I realized why this was hard in the first place.
