I know how it was written.
Hint: Yup, it was one of my chars.
It was written on the go, and left editable, adding to it as things happened.
So, it wasn't simply copied from the screen in one go.
It started off with a different title when that character spawned, with a desire to keep her own journal.
Lazy?
El_Skwid assumed it was simply copied in one go, here in the Netherlands we have a saying about such assumptions:
"Zoals de waard is, vertrouwt hij zijn klanten"
The saying means, that those who think people are lazy, or who assume other negative things about people, are usually doing so because they think that others are just as they themselves are.

El_Skwid, saying his char almost ridiculed mine... I know that char as well.
He was accused of rape, and his actions after I heard of that, definitely pointed towards it.
He kept changing his story, kept attacking the victim, tried to intimidate my char and others...
And on another related note; The char being accused in the report my char was writing, didn't know how my report was written when I told him that I was keeping a record of things, but he was the first one to speak of his own record being so exact, that one would have to assume it could only be an exact copy of his events screen as well.

Seko brings up how it's a CRB, well, the character who was accused of the rape, made a few OOC remarks about the player of the victim, about how it's people like that player who ruined the game.
And that player (playing the char accused of rape) also made other OOC remarks, towards another character, which seemed to accuse the victim and the other char he addressed of being the same player.

Longest post ever about something I am involved with. Anyway, I was very offended when all that OOC crap came pouring out, it was rediculous. Anyhow, I really hate this copy and paste into an events log, but I have done it, and even did so in this case, just because I felt it was necessary to counteract the idiocy of the other character.

If you're going to do it this way, at least take the time to remove the "You see"s and "you say"s. The dates too if possible. And put the damn things in order, ya' bums.
I'm terribly busy all the time outside of cantr, and I still manage to be able to edit stories so they look like my char actualy wrote them, instead of takinga chunk of his brain out and slattering it on some paper for all to see.
(ok, so the chunk of the brain part doesn't really make sense. Don't worry about it.)

I have only ever made two of these event logs. For one of them I just cut and pasted, for the other I spent nearly a half hour putting it in correct order. Can't say it was really worth it.

I don't mind notes so much, (it does strike me as pretty uncreative, but sometimes I can see the reasoning, and hey, forging events is always fun) but it really pisses me off when someone starts speaking the events outloud.

1296-4: A woman in her twenties says: "1296-1: You see a THIEF pick up a wooden shield. 1296-1: You see THIEF pick up some carrots. 1296-1: You see THIEF skillfully hurt got hit (a man in his twenties) using a bare fist."

The only people who can delete posts are moderators of the Forum.
ProgD are not moderators of General Discussion so Marol can't specifically delete his post .

If , however, you meant that as a suggestion/ criticism of the bb software then the creators of the forum phpbb software should be told :)

EDIT : Thanks Seko - I didn't know that (see below)

Correction, you can delete a post if no one has replied to it yet. So if you notice some terrible screw-up, just click the x before no one sees.

Yeah, that's more or less what I meant to say, but didn't.
