And Seeker, (Robin by the sounds of it,) This guy has a Mac computer, so Ctrl+T will do nothing...

...considering he doesn't have a Ctrl on his keyboard.
Evolution is unconformity.

Command-T.
Anyway, what you're asking for is for buttons to be converted to links. I know little about web design, HTML and PHP, but I believe there are a bunch of things one can do with buttons but not with links (passing data, for example), and that's what the buttons seem to be doing (based on what I see in HTML source of Cantr pages).
Basically Cantr would have to be written virtually from the ground up to make this change.
ProgD, please tell me that wasn't a load of malarkey.

I know what you're talking about, it seems everyone else doesn't.
You can't have two simultaneous windows open playing Cantr... one of them will time out.
I believe this is a security feature to protect your account, however. I don't think there's a way around it, and I think that's a good thing. ;-)

I've never had a problem running Cantr in multiple windows, and I regularly use two. One of my chars keeps notes on the projects of the company she works for, and I always open the record sheet in one window and then do whatever I need to do to get the information in the other.

I'm running IE 5.1 on Mac OS 9.2.2. (There is a reason for this, but that doesn't mean I like it.)

Oh, this reminds me. I'm pretty sure I accidentally discovered a way to... I'm having trouble wording this, so I'll demonstrate.

A and B are my chars, and X is someone else's. A meets X. I believe I've found a way to make B recognise X as 'X' instead of 'a man in his twenties', even though B has never met X.

It's kind of obscure, and I think it'd be tricky to fix, so I'd put it out of my mind, but I'll send the details to whereever details should be sent if PrD thinks I should.
"I couldn't afford a bottle of wine," I said, "so I've drawn a picture of one on some cardboard."

We'd appreciate it if you could send the infomation to bugs@cantr.net

ProgD has been long aware of several ways this can be done and it would be useful to know which method you have discovered.

Whilst technically the methods we know of, don't involve bugs, they are CR breaches. Consequently we have been monitoring this issue and significant abuses are reported to the Players Dept for further investigation.
