Well, guess I'll just go play Nationstates. Not as "user friendly" and doesn't possess a huge user interface, like Cantr does, but I can get my political RP fix there...

Ha ha ha

Is the characters still eating daily?

No idea.

No. No turns are processed and if I'm not mistaken, time isn't either.

Time for some Old-Timer moments:

Remember the Time Warp? Perhaps someone else can explain it better than me, but something happened and we had to go to the back up files, losing about a month of playing time.

Remember when the band width was used up before the end of the month and you couldn't log in until the next month. I used to start large projects on the 25th of each month in preparation for a week long black out. (this was before the 200 minute time limit)

SWEET!

Edit: Gah, hit that submit button too soon!

Anyways, yeah, sweet!
Now I know that these symptoms of withdrawl won't last too long.

Almost done. At least we know for sure now that most if not all can be restored ... That is, after a lot of hassle we managed to extract the table from the projects table, and Chris, Jur, and Grzegorz wrote some scripts to restore some other inconsistencies ... We were afraid for a little while that using the backup would prove impossible :) ...

But be patient, I need a few more steps, and I'll be offline most of the evening. We do this carefully rather than with haste to avoid further problems.

Do you really want me to post the massive amount of links for online alcohol ordering and delivery? 8)

Everyone involved in the patch, I would so try and hold the farmer to that one. :D

Don't post that list - going to the supermarket, or the bar, for alcohol is one of the very few things that makes me go outside every now and then.
On the other hand, most of the world outside isn't that great, ordering and delivering would free up prescious minutes in which I could worship my computer and the internet even more.

Great, now I'm stuck with a moal dilemma... thanks a lot!
