*grins* Well for a long time I had two chars in the same town but they had no interaction with each other. They were both outside all of the time so they both had exactly the same information.

On the other hand, it got quite difficult for me to keep track of which one was talking to who so one of the chars upped and left. But not before I confused other players with the wrong one talking to them. *laughs*
Even if the voices aren't real...They have some pretty good ideas!

Ah yes, I had two chars in Olip West, completely unintentional. As one of them had just finished his house, I was able to keep them (Somewhat) seperate. Although they aren't both there anymore... neither are, actually. One (the original one) is off in the forests west of there right now, and the other had his house sold by the king who thought it was abandoned  and I still am confused as to how that happened... but enoug hof my ranting
All of my endings are waiting to begin.

WHY did you have to start this thred? I've just done it!!! *blush*

Grrr stupid concentration.

Hopefully one of my chars will move on soon, I hope the circumstances work that way!

I keep my charries as far away from each other as practical, but I do have two heading to the same town right now. One is on a trade route for profits, and the other is coming home from a military mission. I hate having two chars in the same spot... gives me headaches. All of my loudmouth charries are real far away, though, so I don't anticipate a SHIK this time around.

I like that word... SHIK...

I've never mixed two characters even though sometimes I've had two in the same town. But lately one of my characters said a private thing aloud because travelling processed while I was writing it and my character came off the road. Usually I cut the text on the clipboard and refresh events page to see that things like that haven't happened but just this one time I didn't.

Another thing happened many Cantr years ago when Jonas (later known as Phoenix aka "the man in his fourties who hits everybody") was still a bright-spirited youngster. He was complaining about the town leader Katrinn and the moment he let it out of his mouth, she stepped on the yard! X) It must've been destiny. I don't remember what he said since I've removed the turn report containing that but it was something along the lines "ice queen".

That same thing happened to me, Seko. I was ranting about Drew McKenzie inside the Citizens Quarters when all of a sudden, there he is! It was classic.

I really hate that guy.

You're not the first. Try being his Commanding Officer.

Now do you realize why Thomas Hobbes took to the sea?

And to answer the topic, yes, it has happened to me a few times. Usually, I am able to cover it up with something IC.

I think the man is finally dead. One of my characters heard someone named Drew died. If he is not dead, one of my other characters is doing his darndest to get him removed from office.

Is that your final answer?
Okay, I don't really do a decent Regis Philbin, but the point is, there was no breach committed there.
The only thing that happened was, that somehow chars switched (as I see it, due to a goof-up on my end probably) when I was anwering to something someone said.
That what was being said by the wrong char, was about something which was being publicly spoken about, outside, so it was an answer to something both chars had heard, the only thing is, that I had intended the answer to come from the other char.

Much later, the player of one of the other chars in that place noticed the little goof-up, and got curious... so he asked the char I had intended to give the original answer if the two chars came from the same player (he didn't actually say "player", he asked if these two chars might have been related); it took me a few minutes to figure out how to put it properly, but the answer to that was finally given in an IC-manner as well, and the other player managed to work with that in his character's reaction.

Anyways, long story short, Cookie Monster, I don't know if you hang out on IRC, but if you do, on DALnet, look up some of the people who know me (Biggest_Baddest_Wolf), they will tell you that while I may not always be the easiest person to be friends with, I never cover any of my mistakes up - and they have been there when I messed up in ways that would go well beyond the scope of a game, I had plenty of chances and reason to cover up there, yet didn't.

Indeed he is. He shouldn't have, as I said, locked up my character for 10 years.

It sounds like you are dead too though. Bastard, that's what you get for attacking innocent men. :P My character in Naron will be glad to hear that, when the news reaches him in a few days. Once the four day rule is up, could you tell me how he managed to get killed on his motorbike?

I wouldn't have mentioned it if the four day rule wasn't up. I hit him, passed my bow off to a follower and they finished him. Quick and sweet.

Well, it makes me happy. One of my characters no longer has an inept leader, and one of them has had his revenge, even if he dosn't know it yet.

Heh heh, I have a character in Lad who swore she knew of Drew's death, but no one there believed her. *snicker* Their loss.
