You forgot about all the Polish players too. Basically it would be a Polish and English Island. It could lead to some cool conflict though. Can anyone say racial conflict? How much fun would a full on civil war be? Come on, admit it, you would all love it.

I think we should just go with the geekeness and make half the island speak klingon, and half elvish.

I think this is a silly idea altogether!
Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

I don't think this would be a very good idea at all...

I am a very active player, but not all my chars are active. If all the "active" players (i.e. those players who "RP" alot) were put on an island, it would just suck.

Although if it took them away from the rest of Cantr, I'm all for it. I cannot stand what most seem to see as 'good RP'...

Talking and emoting a lot is not equivalent to being a good RPer.
One of the best RPed characters in Cantr history died recently, in my opinon.
edit: Oh, right, and the point to that was that, he rarely emoted or talked

I don't know about this particular character, but I agree that talking and emoting does not mean a good character.

I disagree 100% with Surley's statement that active players are ones that "RP alot." Active players are ones who are active, period. Besides, how could the game possibly measure RP as a requirement for getting on this island?

He had put the "RP" in quotation marks. I don't think he was asserting he agrees with that.
