Suggestions for Weapons and Protection

I repeat that it's unrealistic. Diamond is, like any crystal, fairly brittle (good luck penetrating a shield or parrying a sword with a blade that breaks when you drop it), and is also never found in blocks the size of a sword blade. There's a reason diamond swords don't exist in real life.
I know glass knives are real and that they are extremely sharp. I'm not against considering those as a tool.

I would like to see a Cutlass introduced. A cutlass is a shorter, heavier version of a sabre, made for fighting in closer quarters, like ships. There are currently swords in the game that have much less of a difference between them than a sabre and a cutlass (like a spatha, short sword, and gladius are essentially the same thing).

We aspiring pirates need proper navy weapons, instead of these cumbersome cavalry sabres we have now.

Canons will never make it. Does anyone of any importance read this post, I think my glass knives would actually be cool and make a use for glass besides cars, and speed up marginally some healing foods, leading to more speciallization, which is the key word around here these days.
