Veichle Deaths

Postby Nick » Tue Oct 11, 2005 4:08 pm

Isn't it kind of stupid how when someone dies on a veichle like a bicycle, they leave their body and the key to the bike on the bike itself?
Can we have some sort of workaround to this?

There are a lot of useless, body filled, bikes and the like out there - which would be very useful to many Cantrians.

Would it be possible to implement some kind of programming so that if there is a vehicle with no living person on it - and not enough space to fit a living person on it - one of the bodies 'falls out' and is placed outside the vehicle (wouldn't work in the case of boats I guess...)

That would just be automating something the ProgD seem to have to do on a fair number of occasions?

Not to divert Nicks topic, which is good and should be done, but when I saw the title, the first thing I thought of was road kill.

When will cantians get vehicular assault?

mabey there should be something to make boats with only dead corpse's open automaticly i really like the idea of finding an old boat and climbing onto it to find out what had happend to it.

You should be able to drag dead bodies from the outside of a bike or car...boats would be different, but not from a programing point of view I suppose.

mabey on a boat you could "drag" a person into the sea I would love to die in a boat and have my corpse chucked into the sea (and dont say it would reduce the work for buering corpses because if somebody has bulit a boat they should use that advantage.

When I first saw this, I thought, "Hey, another suggestion from Pie." *points to title and giggles*

But, yeah, this is a good suggestion. How do you lock a body inside a bike anyway? o_O

The body should just be outside the bike/vehicle when they die. Certainly in the case of bikes a dead body isn't going to stay perfectly balanced up there for long.

Did that. Boat so old it didn't have a lock (yay me! :D ) with the dead body of a woman in her eighties  .

Lucky me to have enough iron for a lock, and the dead woman's crumbling screwdriver. In the process of chucking said dead woman over board now. Golden Age of Seafaring = Golden Age of SALVAGE! WOOT!

Isn't it just a bug when a corpse stays on a bike? Since I remember shooting a bike thief near Kiii north (later known as Xendra) and he fell down with no need to ask for divine help.
