Should I point out the games are also totally different from each other. And if you ever saw some of the hits these guys get in the NFL, you would want pads too. Rugby is more physical contact, sort of like wrestling, instead of all out hitting like it is in football. Not that I'm defending the NFL. I think the game would be a whole lot interesting if they didn't wear pads though I could imagine there would be a whole lot more people on the injury list because of that.
And there was a time when they didn't wear any pads and I think that changed after a few people were killed during games because of it.

the ultimate spectator sport, explained to me by a firend as something like "murderball". Probaly illegal, if not then if it grew in popularity it soon would be.
1 ball
2 goals
whoever gets the ball in the goal the most wins
no other rules
Like I said, the ultimate spectator sport, cus very few would want to join in...

Never even heard of that. Must be a European thing. Over here we have Ultimate Fighting which is illegal but people do it anyways. People get killed all the time doing that. It's pretty much no rules fighting match and the objective is to knock your opponent unconscious which I assume counts if you kill him.

Well if Philadelphia doesn't choke AGAIN. I say they are making quite a comeback this season. I'm currently watching their game right now. Philadelphia is winning and if they finish they will have 8 wins out of the past 9 games. This is the best I have ever seen them play.
Abou thwy it's called football. I'm not sure exactly why, but they do use their feet it's just they use them about 3% of the time.
I'm not going to get into the big conflict about which is better, but I would rather watch American Football over soccer any day. I guess it's just the American brutality of me. And I bet if that murderball thing ever came to the states it would be the most popular thing on TV.

America really needs to find another name for that sport. It creates so much confusion. I mean, someone obviously wasn't thinking when they said "Hey, I've got a great name for this game! Even though it has little to do with feet AND the name's taken, we should call it FOOTBALL!" yeah, and where did "soccer" come from. I think I'm gonna boycott that word.
DOOM!
