The Muck Pond

[McManus]

Taken in the scene before him, all a round him. He began to think twice about the loot he was lookin to find. But he had a thought,
"This creature had to be gurading something"
So he looked around bumping a few skulls over with his front paws but found nuffin but bugs.

So thinking ther was nuffin hidin under the skulls he decided to nosh on a still bloody femur to stay his hunger, all the while looking at the door that lays infront of him. When Pimientos was done with the bone he headed towards the door carefully as not to dirty his wings.

I frown at the morning and sit at the top of the plateau looking over the valley ahead and below. I take in the suroundings as I dread the walk in the sun.

(could I get a brief discription of the imediate area or refered to a page where it is already discribed please?)

[Nixit]

Briker is frightened when the pink one splashes the water on the mermaid, but is still confident enough because his presence is not noticed yet. He mind speaks to the Pink One.

"Leave this place! Until we have gone! Or else a mighty punishment will be placed on you!" He speaks in his most commanding voice possible.

[AngelSpice]

Audirda frowns at the pink being and holds out her hand and says: "Return my belongings"

She scoops up Xev/Vex with Briker on his shell (I think he's still there) in the other hand and holds them protectively.

[AoM]

Ao produces a small rumble that might pass for a snort in earth-speak.

"We are within the confines of the earth. Eriadina is closer to me now, and I will fear no evil. Lead on, Kikkik. And should any evil thing be foolish enough to tread where we go I shall send it to Dramnos."

Now that they are underground, Ao plods forward more confidently.

[Schme]

Upon meeting the unpleasant grazing creatures, MushBall’s temper again flared, and his annoyance was becoming very hard to contain. “This region is really full of the most rude and silly proletariat paupers.” He thought. “These low people should really learn to how to properly respect people of my status.”

“Away away!” he gurgled, herding the creatures away from him with his stick. “I admire your reverence and worship of me, but you must really learn to express it more properly, and I must be on my way, I’m afraid. I am sorry that I cannot stay to teach you, but I’ve plans that must be executed.”

Having cleared the sea of his four legged admirers, MushBall strode along the path majestically, heading for the village of the people of pink.

The corridor quickly became narrow and it was difficult for Pimientos to fit, but it was just big enough. The corridor was pitch-black, but he could hear the sound of running water further down it.

Beelzebub advanced down the winding path into the depths of the Valley. As it approached the bottom it could faintly make out a curious figure popping its head out of a small cave, only to retreat again. Beelzebub could not be sure whether the figure had seen it or not.

The pink one, realizing that his method was entirely ineffectual, gasped and retreated to the large wooden building he had come from. Once again the place was quiet. Vex/Xev regained consciousness at this moment, only to realize they were being held up by the mermaid they had helped to save.

"I admire your confidence, Ao." said Kikkik. "But there is a fine line between being brave and being foolhardy. Though we are indeed closer to Eriadina, you must not underestimate the evil that some of the denizens of this place are capable of."
The trio was now getting closer to the junction, and they could see where the wide corridor branched off into a series of narrow corridors. Some were lighted, others were practically devoid of light.

"MOOOO" the animal protested, as MushBall poked it. It followed him but to no avail, for MushBall had by this time crossed the fence and was making his way up the road.
Presently, MushBall arrived at the entrance to the village, only to find that nobody was out and about. Some distance away, near a glorious bonfire at the center of town, he could make out some kind of fish-like creature holding what could only be Vex/Xev. There was a building near the bonfire that did not look like the others, being made of stone.

As best he could Pimientos folded up his wings and moved down the narrow corridor, following the only thing ther to guid him, the sound of running water.

(I was hoping you woulda just moved him down.)

I hide and slowly move closer to inspect the cave animal.

[AngelSpice]

Audirda gently places Xev/Vex on the ground when she notices he's awake again. "Oh good, you're awake again."

Audirda starts dragging herself towards the one stone building in the village.

[Razorlance]

"Are you sure you know which tunnel to take Kikkik? looks rather confusing to me. What do you think Ao?"

[El_Skwidd]

Vex and Xev look around, then to each other, dazed.

"Briker?" Xev says.

Vex looks around and spies Aurdida moving towards the open building. "Perhaps he's in there, Xev," Vex speculated.

The two follow Aurdida into the open building.

Though Pimientos could not see, he could hear the rushing water getting louder, and felt the wet rock against his paws as he approached the edge. A trickle of light from somewhere upstream allowed him to make out the rope across the stream. The water seemed dangerous enough for Pimientos to realize that it would be necessary to hang on to the rope or else risk being washed downstream, wherever that led.

[AoM]

"Kikkik knows where he is going. We're headed the right way."

Ao plodded on confidently, but kept a wary eye on the shadowy tunnels which emitted no light. Ao was no fool, and had taken Isolep's warning to heart. He had no doubt that there were very dangerous and evil things lurking in the deep, but he refused to fear Fear itself.

He took comfort in the fact that his fate gave him a way to fight back. It may not be much, but if he was destined to confront demons and wizards and whatever else to get to Eriadina, he just hoped it would be enough.

[Nixit]

(I guess I'm on the ground?)

"No wait! Xev, Vex! Wait up!" Briker scurries as fast as he can toward Xev and Vex.
