Are you guys really talking aboot insane characters? And you didn't invite me?
I have many interesting characters that can fit in here. Rayne, Church, E. Bold, Iam Free, Toejam Hunter and now a new one that does something that really annoys the heck out of me. Now that to me is insane and it is even stranger that he is still alive.
I like playing insane characters they really make role playing enjoyable. Now some of those characters I mentioned about might not seem like they were insane but they have certain flaws and since they are played by me, you never know when they might just, SNAP!

Hahaha Nice little Slide show there Colonel.
The main problem with the insane is that people dont always RP properly, often blocking or just ignoring the person.
Blocking is a Theatrical term for cutting off the ventures of improvisation with negatives.
"i saw you with my girlfriend!"
"no you didnt"
it really annoys me when people do that, especially in drama when people are TRAINED to just go with it.

I've always wondered if Janet Jackson of Karnon is really insane or if her player just has MASSIVE ADHD. I've never seen one char change their life goals so much, and there's been times where she just forgets what she was supposed to be doing and disappears for a few days.
It's a tough call between bad playing and great RP'ing... but I can't describe Janet Jackson. You have to meet her.

Let the world hear these words once more:
Save us, oh Lord, from the wrath of the Norsemen!

I've met her.
She once claimed that she was going to marry Terry Midgar, and that he was along the road with no food. when asked why she knew this she shut up. Close call.
Yes, she seems erratic

I have one crazt guy who is a bit like a split personality, really fun to play. my other guy is a guy who can only say "potatoes." well he can say it over 300 different ways, I'm suprised about how much response he has been given
---------------
"Genius has its limitations. Stupidity is not thus handicapped."
1120-7: You are killed by a moose.
1120-7: You see a man in his thirties hurt a moose using a
longbow.

I have met the potatoe guy...I gave him his first loin cloth!!!
(even if he did sew it himself)
(added) I had a charrie that sort of lost touch for a while....she was normal but then started hearing the dead...some people were actually mean to her, even though that was her home for 20 years..Others were very supportive...She walked about looking for her dead husband....and no one would tell her he was dead! Reality has snapped back in....but for being a member of this community for 20 years..the response she recieved was much different than I expected... ((there are no dead bodies left unburied now though))

hostage by pirates.
As thoroughly as enjoyable as i found it, just throwing vindictive insults at
their attempts to slay her, she did get that manic depressive gloom as
well as schizophrenic hysterical laughter, with a little voice in the poor
Char's mind telling her to cause as much agro as she could before
giving up the ghost.
*she points to the people playing those mean pirates* Yes, I'm sure you
know who i mean, you play some cold blooded mean characters and it
was certainly a break from the norm.
Yay.... for well played pirate's...
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent and Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.
