Ao rumbles in earth-speak to Kikkik. "How is the blood cursed? What will happen to him?"

(For Snake_byte, Razorlance, and AoM)

"It is hard to say, my friend..." Kikkik began. "It is such a small amount it is hard to say whether he has been infected or not. You ask about the curse, it is one of Garob's curses. If Beelzebub has got it, it shall eventually lose the ability to talk and will surely go mad."
Kikkik addressed Beelzebub. "We shall be avoiding the wizards, but perhaps it is a good thing you are seeking one out. If anyone knows curses, it's the wizards."
"I think now would be a good time to continue on our way. It will not be long before other demons pick up on the scent of this one and come to investigate. The entrance to the Valley is just down this path, let's go."

Ao nods and once again turns down the path to Deep Valley.

"If the wizards lie in the same direction that we are going, then you are welcome to travel with us, Beezlebub of the Muck. But our paths will diverge once you seek them. I wish you luck when you confront them."

(Global statement)
The moon had begun its descent, the clouds still thick in the sky.

(For AoM and Razorlance. Razorlance, I hope you don't mind... I'm assuming that Tek is continuing to travel with Ao.)

Ao, Tek, and Kikkik reached the edge of the plateau, where the path began to descend between two rocky hills. The path became quite steep, and ceased to be straight. It winded down to the depths of a great valley. Moonlight glanced off the facets of jagged rock, giving the valley an eerie atmosphere. A breeze whistled through the valley, and somewhere in the distance one could hear some rocks tumble and smash on the valley floor.

"Of course we shall," said Vex. "Might as well get this over with." The three continue on to the village, Xev giving a quizzical look to the rotting meat as he passes.

Audirda looks at the pink people surrounding her and gets a tighter grip on the scaler. She wonders if she says something, would they consider not eating her or would it make matters worse. After thinking about it, she decides to say something.

"Hello. My name is Audirda. I come from the Muck Pond and live in the sea."

(For El_Skwidd and Nixit)

Vex/Xev, with Briker on their back, noticed the light of numerous torches as they walked up the road towards the village. Upon reaching the outer region of the town, they could clearly see a mob of pink creatures, more creatures than they had ever seen in one place before. A number of them seemed to be chanting something incoherent, torches moving up and down in rhythm. None of the pink ones noticed Vex/Xev or Briker (who was far too small to be seen anyway) enter the town, as they were far too interested in whatever was happening.

(For AngelSpice)

The three men advanced upon Audirda and attempted to grab her, paying no attention to her words, which they could not understand anyway.

"What are they doing?" Briker asked Vex and Xev, "Oh! Perhaps they are near the person we are to save.... Perhaps I should go up myself to get a better look. They won't notice me, I assume."

"Yes, that would be a good idea. We'll be here if you get into any trouble," Vex said quietly, with a nod. Xev was craning his neck to get a look at the mob, but he couldn't see anything.

"Alright! I'm off!" Briker exclaimed as he climbed down the shell to the ground. He then began to advance near the pink ones, although ready to dig into the ground, should anything occur.

(For Nixit and El_Skwidd)

To the pink ones, Briker was an ordinary ant, and nobody payed any attention to him. He had to be careful that he was not accidentally stepped on, however.
On approaching the front of the mob, he could see a row of pink ones standing in front of a dilapidated shack, spears at the ready lest anyone in the mob try to rush them. There was some sort of commotion in the shack.
Briker also noticed a blazing bonfire off to the left. This appeared to be the source of the great smoke plume that could be seen miles away.
While most of the buildings in the town seemed to be constructed of wood, a large stone building stood close by the bonfire, heavy wooden doors concealing whatever it held inside.

As Briker approached the mob, he became more wary of their feet. And seeing the commotion in the shack, he decided to head there. However, he decided it would be safer to go underground. So he approximated the distance as best he could to the shack, and began to dig his way to the shack.

(For Nixit and AngelSpice. AngelSpice, I know you haven't posted yet, but I'm only adding on a very tiny bit to yours.)

Briker emerged beneath the floor boards of the shack, though he would have no difficulty getting up above, since there were large gaps between the floor boards. Still, Briker could make out a great deal from under the floor, and there was no risk of being stepped on here.
Briker had arrived just as the men had descended upon Audirda. One of the men had seized upon the hand with the scaler in it, squeezing at the wrist until Audirda was forced to drop it. The scaler tumbled to the floor, landing not far from Briker.

Forgive me if I don't catch up for a while. I'll try though. I'm working on the next thing right now.
