I watch the two crash and the demon get thrown aside like a toy.
I relax my stance breathing heavily now both hands on the ground

(For AoM, Snake_byte and Razorlance)

As Ao descended on the demon, Kikkik buzzed his wings and flew to safety, landing on one of the large boulders. The demon had bounced up onto its feet, but was holding its face in agony. Ao crashed into it, sending the demon flying. It landed upon the rocky ground with a thud, sending up plenty of dust. Its bones broken, the demon could not get up onto its feet. It crawled a few feet, collapsed, then tried to crawl another distance. It coughed, and dark grey dust flew from its mouth. Blood, nearly black in colour, trickled upon the ground from the lacerations given it by Beelzebub. It was clear that the demon had decided to retreat, though it could not do so very quickly.
Ao, of course, was unscathed from the encounter. Beelzebub had not been so lucky, though none of his wounds were life-threatening.

I see the color of the blood and growl. "not even edible!" I look at Ao.
"A mighty power you hold there..." I limp to the creature and stare down at it. I get on one knee and raise my hand and look at Ao "Shall I or would you rather do it?"

(Global statement)
The moon had now risen high in the sky, and midnight had come. The clouds were heavy but the moon managed to find a spot where its full light could beam down.

(Wow... that was a long day. I'm going to alter the length of a day at this point. You may have noticed that the game started at midnight and it took ~300 posts to get to the following midnight. I've been gauging length by the number of "pages", and even though some events take longer than others I think it evens out in the end. 20 pages for one day is unacceptable though, so I'm going to reduce it to 8. Why 8 you say? Because it's easier than 10, given that in my head I divide the day up into quarters: midnight to dawn, dawn to noon, noon to dusk, dusk to midnight. So each quarter will take *roughly* 2 pages, though it may be slightly shorter or longer depending on how much happens in those pages)

"By all means, put it out of its misery." Ao intoned through mind-speak.

I look around in the sky and behind me then at Ao again not knowing where or who was in my head.
I shake my head to clear the voice and shove my thumb into the creatures eye socket to the back of its head.
I stand up, the black liquid dripping from my thumb.
I look at it for a while then turn to Ao and stand as straight as I can not to appear wounded.
"Are you a creature of the muck?"

"I am. My name is Ao. Like you I was born of the Muck. Like you I have received a fate from Ilosep."

Ao regards Beezlebub's stance, noting the creature's charred limbs shooting off its back.

"There is a rumor among the servants of the gods that you have angered Garob. Perhaps this demon was his?"

Tek watched as the two creatures fought, then as Ao charged the standing creature. Seems he has fatally wounded it, he thought, looks safe now. He lowered himself back onto four limbs and started to lumber over to Ao and the surviving creature.

(For AoM, Snake_byte, and Razorlance)

Kikkik buzzed over to Ao's shoulder, taking up his former spot. "Oh dear me, dear me, I wish I had had time to warn you, Beelzebub. The demon's blood... it is cursed! Quickly, you must wash it off in the dust! Oh, I hope it is not too late..."

(Sorry, I've been CRAZY busy lately.)

Vex and Xev look around, make sure Briker is still on their back, and start down the path to the right.

"Music sounds too pleasant for killers," Vex observes.

Audirda falls to the ground with a thud, barely managing to keep from impaling herself on the small scaler. She tries to open the door, but it's locked. She settles in to wait with the scaling knife in her hand.

(For El_Skwidd and Nixit)

The pair (or trio, depending on your perspective) continued down the right forest path until they reached the edge of the forest. Beyond lay some pastures, with various crops growing in some, while others contained some strange-looking grazing animals. The pastures were divided up by crude wooden fences that did not seem like they would do much to stop an animal. They were more likely intended to mark off territory.
The path stopped abruptly at the edge of the forest, where an odd and apparently useless wooden figure stood. It stood like some kind of scare-crow, perhaps to ward off the "evil creatures" of the forest, though it wasn't very imposing and could easily be walked around. The meats of various animals had been hung on the statue, rotten and covered in maggots. It gave off a pungent odour.
Some distance across one of the pastures, the pair could see a road of some sort, that led to a collection of lighted buildings and a plume of thick smoke far in the distance. That was most likely the village of the Pink Ones Resuso had mentioned.

(For AngelSpice)

Shortly after Audirda had fallen from her hanging prison, she heard a rattling at the door and several excited voices. The door burst open and three of the male pink creatures burst into the tiny shack. Seeing the scaler in her hand, one of the men pointed at her, and all three took up spears. Their expressions and behaviour seemed a mix of anger and fear, as they shouted amongst themselves. One of the men yelled something unintelligible directly at her. Behind the men, outside in the village, Audirda could see several pink ones holding torches, apparently come to see what the commotion was about.

"Oh goodie!" thought Briker, "It looks as though we have arrived." He gazed cheerily at the town, still getting used to the massive size difference there was.

"Shall we enter the town?" Asked Briker to Xev and Vex.
