Whattaaa? You do? Well at least you need iron to make the shovel for digging the firepit but where do you need steel? That doesn't make much sense, when you can make iron in a mere pile of stones.

But the amount of sailing and exploration is kind of growing exponentially - what is the problem of actually having something useful to be found on those new lands? Several people are setting up colonies, already, and sailing routes to some of those islands are already known now. So I fail to see the problem ...

Why should phosphorous be added to the older islands when we still can't get the herbs needed to make healing medicines? Or the ingredients for sealing wax or coffee or tea or lots of other stuff?
I like that there are new and exciting resources to be found "out there." I'm already finding some of them although nothing very exciting so far. I could make a nice dill potato salad or put some on my scrambled eggs.

But - what's the point of introducing a new metal to Cantr - the point of which is that it should be easier to make than iron or steel, when, because of the travelling involved, it's actually harder?
(as sailing, despite it's growth, because of the time it takes, doesn't match up to the heavily established hematite/coal/limestone trading)
In all other cases, though, I'm all for the 'go get yer lazy arses in a boat if you want something new' approach

Whoever you vote for.
