A sling would be pretty cool.
The cantrians would be pretty suprised to see a weapon made out of cloth.

Just finished hunting through this forum and didn't see this suggestion.
For lack of a better term as well as my laziness factor in hunting for a better term online, the claw that Vega used in Street Fighter II. Could be iron. Could be steel. Could be an unfinished project involving three iron rods and a strap for the hand....

This is already in game. It is called a Bagk whatever. I can't remember the spelling for the damn thing but it is a Native American weapon.

Bagh-Nagks or whatever?
They're claws?
The folks in Karnon treated them as if they were swords. :P

I would like to see restraining devises such as leg irons and hand cuffs...have some made of iron, bronze, and wood. I also think it would be cool to have something like stocks, to stick someone in. I also think it would be cool to have gallows.

It's been suggested... There's a huge topic discussing it somewhere, Doug.

Bagh-nakh. And it's Subcontinental Indian, not Native American.

Oh, and Richard, a suggestion: Please change the "Apache Throwing Star" to a "throwing stick". That is another word for it that is more accurate and doesn't have an OOC reference in it.

You should make a dummy that people can hit for training to improve their attack skills.

Skills don't work that way. Skills move very slowly and your character may never gain in skill throughout his or her life.

That's not very fair Serenity, if a person trains long enough they should be able to be good at something. :/

Well blame RKL all you want, but I don't think he has much to do with that.
Regardless, I agree with you.

Oh and, any reason why bagh nakhs suck so much?

There should be one, unequalled, best weapon. It would of course require a rediculous amount of time and materials to make, I think something made with some aluminum in it would do the trick, no one has any and it is certainly difficult to aquire, even steel is easier. It Obviously creates many new aspects to combat and rule, please comment.

Um... no.

Combat is boring and lacking in any strategy as is. Having one weapon to rule them all (which I believe the claymore and crossbow are currently already doing) won't help that at all.

Combat lacking strategy?
Combat is simple, but simple for BOTH parties. Therein lies the strategy.

You need to get a fun character to learn this, I suppose.

Let me try that again. Combat has no depth to it. All it is right now is pick up the bigger stick and beat someone over the head with it. It's all brute strength, with no account for some of the lighter, faster weapons. Of course I have no idea how to fix any of that, so I'll just shut my mouth right now.

Well in that sense yeah... in which case a solution would be to make the faster weapons able to hit more than once a day.
Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.
