Stuff to do on boats
I think it would be cool if when you're on a boat in one spot you could go fishing. And also, it would be cool if there we things to hunt, like sharks and whales. Maybe show the whales on the map (as white dots or something) so you can pursue them.
All of my endings are waiting to begin.

and soon we will be able to see humans as some color of dots to eh? GREAT IDEA! And you could get wail oil from wails, and use that oil for gas!!!!!...... getting gas from a wail..... GREAT IDEA!

I don't think that's what he was getting at, Pie.
But yeah, there should be more things to do at sea. Maybe underwater resources, like oil, salt, titanium.
And of course fishing. But this has been suggested many times before. I remember suggesting it myself a few years ago, and I'm not claiming to be the first either.

Well... what i am saying is that in real life.. if you do somthing like burn the blubber of a wail(i think thats it) you will get oil, and we dont actually have oil, and only have gas, we would get gas from a wail. And, why could we see wails in the ocean and not se humans coming doun a road?

Whales would be interesting, and might even be implementable.
Idea: Code whales as computer-controlled ships, moving at, say, longboat speed. Move continuously, randomly change direction at random intervals or upon hitting land.
Attacking a whale would use the docking mechanism. Because whales would move all the time, one would have to get qute close to a whale before attacking it.
Once docked . . . I have no idea. No actual hunting, just gain X amount of various goodies and take a tiredness hit? Simulate crew attacking the whale by having them automatically deal damage and gain tiredness when the ship docks to the whale, and have whale escape if it is not killed? Neither of these ideas appeal to me.
Possible refinements:
Make it so only certain boats can dock to whales - consider making a "whaling boat," like a dinghy but nerfed somehow, for this specific purpose.
Make it so you must have a harpoon (tool/weapon, takes wood and iron, or wood and steel) to attack the whale. If we go with my second whale-hunting mechanism, this would probably make it easier to code - only one thing to test chars' inventory for.
Oil from whales is realistic in real life, but not in Cantr - Cantr oil, from its main use (road-paving), would seem to be something more like tar than whale-oil, which was used as a clean-burning lamp oil. Gas, unfortunately, is not much better - it has to be refined with coal to make propane, besides which it's just not a good name (heh).
Probably whale-oil would need to be created as a new resource. Proposed use: some sort of machine, compatible with ships, that would use whale-oil to cook, making ships completely self-sufficient.

That would be totally cool. We need some kind of stove that can only be built on boats.
Also, if there are whales, we need to get special whale bones from them that can be used for large projects (like umm...what is whale bone used for?) from them.
Whale blubber could be a high energy food.

or, Now heres an idea, Make it so if you apply wale oil on A machine, YOU WONT HAVE TO REPAIR IT FOR A SERTON AMOUNT OF TIME DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH WAIL OIL YOU HAVE!!!!!!!!

dont whals have somthing on them u can eat like blubber or some kind of food whals could be a type of food as well as oil
but why just whals why just sharks cantr is a fantesy world why not have fantesy monsters in the sea like types of dragons and monters that have big theeth in fact that then brings you to the subject why not have mithicaly monters on land (hawks attaking people just dosent do it for me wwhy not have Dragons swooping down why stop with animals why not have meteors hitting cantr citys it would be really cool
