Projects list

Postby joo » Thu Aug 25, 2005 11:38 am

It would be much less time-consuming when searching through the list of projects in an area if there were four changes:
  • The percentage of the project that was complete was shown in the project text (e.g. Collecting wood (a woman in her fourties, 1268-0) - 46% Complete
  • Only projects that actually can be deleted had the "delete" button
  • When examining a project in detail, the goal product of the project (what the project is to create) should be displayed
  • There should also be an option to search inactive projects, for those wishing clean up the list (or mooch the ghost projects for their own ends)

This would, among other bonuses, probably make it easier for people to continue ghost projects that suit them, instead of creating more potential clutter.

It already takes a long time for the 'all activities' page to load

Having to run checks - is it deletable - what the % is etc. etc. would be even more information to extract from the database, which would probably just take it even longer to load

I like the new 'with participants' check box - it'd be nice to have more like 'at 0%' and include an option to search for participants and project starters...
Whoever you vote for.

The government wins.

Yes, but it takes even longer to search through every single project until a suitable one is found.
