Me too--Happy Thanksgiving.

Although instead of all this food I don't really like, I'd rather have some macoroni and cheese. *laughs* Or ramen noodles.

Ramen noodles.....yumm.....

I only like beef ramen noodles. And don't eat ramen noodles raw. That is very bad. My friend did that once and ended up in the hospital. Not a good thing.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans. Hey, wanna send some of that turkey up north? It's been over a month, and I'm going through triptophane (sp?) withdrawal! Thank goodness Christmas is just around the corner! ( :o OMG, I can't believe I said that!)

Thanksgiving was a tradition started by the Pilgrims and the Indians. Pilgrims had a hard time at surviving the hard winters of Masschusetts. One year, the local Indians saw what was happening to them and decided to help them. They showed them the best way at farming etc.... Well that year the harvest was great and the Pilgrims had enough food to last them the winter so they decided to throw a feast. They invited the Indians to join them and they feasted giving thanks for what they had. Thus it is called Thanksgiving. Giving thanks for everything you have. Be it food, friends, family, etc...

And on top of that it is not a religious holiday like Christmas or Easter. It is secular which makes it more appealing to Americans due to all the different religions we have here and all of the religious arguments going on. It is something where all Americans can get together and give their thanks for what they have whereas not everyone celebrates Christmas or Easter due to their religion or lack of one.

What? They make youy eat turkey on a holiday and you are happy about it?

Man, even my cat refuses to eat turkey. If any poultry, why not goose or duck? Or even chicken, not half as ugly as those turkey creatures.

Anyway. Happy thanxgiving to you. May you survi... enjoy it...
