This is my thing... I make movies.

I am going to start on it right away. I am going to get actors, I am going to start writing it out, and I am going to get props. I have a video editor that will work for me. I have good locations. It will be epic!

Except, it isn't exactly going to be serious. Heh heh heh. I am a comedian also, so it will be a comedy :) . However, I am going to use a story from one of my characters, names may be changed though.

I also have a band, so we will do the music for the movie.

Good, good.

Are you somebody famous?

What was the last movie you made or worked on?

Did it have Jim Carrey in it? (noting avatar)

Oh, and I am an Avid certified video editor. So I can edit too and pretty much everything else with making the movie. I was trained on the TV side but there isn't much a difference.

You can be serious and funny at the same time. See Firefly and Serenity.

I'm thinking something along the lines of epic involving past Cantr history with characters that did exist (some of the famous ones) with added characters for depth of story. The main characters would be made up characters not played in the game so that we could almost go anywhere with the story as long as it stayed with the historical guideline.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the Alexian Empire and the height of its power. Or the conflicts in the Krif/Drojf/Seatown Region.

I think the most realistic thing that might happen is that everyone who can, should just make their own small film about whatever aspect of Cantr that interests them and then make it available here on the forums to download.

Even if you've never made a film before just get hold of a video camera and your sister's Barbie dolls and your old GI Joe "action figures." Make some simple Cantr costumes and props and make a stop action film. Or cut up construction paper and make an animated film like South Park. Or get your goofy friends and relatives to act out roles. No matter how stupid or bad it is everyone will love it!

If everyone starts thinking they'll make a feature film nothing will get made. Remember, a lot of the major directors today started by making small but high quality student films and before that they made 1,000 crappy three minute movies with their friends.

Heh heh, I don't give out my identity on the 'net, sorry Serenity, don't want to be hounded .

As for movies, well, you would never have heard of them. None of them have been released. I am a good friend with a famous artist. The others that I mentioned, are not so famous. Also, everything I do, I basically do under the pseudonym Neo N. Raydants. I'll let you all figure out the significance in that name.

Of course, this may not win a Grammy, but it should be good. I actually used to write heavily, and I am hoping to get back into that. I am thinking of making a full length novel about Cantr, around 150 -- 250 pages. It shouldn't take that long. I can average 10 pages a day. If not a full length novel, maybe a series of short stories.

why not make one that Serenity and maximus are suggesting?
it will be good, good quality, and with enough audience its sure to attract more players. if enough people can get together.
besides, everyone who wishes to can make their own movies, animated movies or the ones like soutpark and still upload it here for download...
but you guys will have to tell me how to get around, when you admin has disabled downloads :x

My artist friend has made several movies and published them in MASS quantity. If I get his help I could easily make 500 VHS tapes. And I could just have my video editor friend convert them to DVD if I need to. I could sell them for like $3 or so to cover some of the costs associated. It would be great. He has like 250 tapes lying around that didn't sell. I could probably just tape over them .
