None of my charries have been fighters, or enguaged in true combat...other than the note thief...so as of yet, they haven't been affected by the change..My seamstress though, is now a novice...and after all that hard work she had put into her building and sewing..it's rather difficult for her to change what she does! Besides, alot of people S*** at what they do IRL but they do it anyways....( me being one of the exceptons , of course...I am very proficeint and efficeint at what I do, and I love what I do.).

No, Witchita. Your aim may in fact become better, but seeing as you cannot, in Cantr, attack different parts of the body (and I don't mind at all) then all aim should do in Cantr would be to determine hit or miss. And no, Withchita, just because you have good aim does not change the laws of physics. A bullet fired by me or a bullet fired by a marksmen are the same (Unless, of course, they are different kind of ammunition or gun, but you know what I mean.)

I believe I heard something about 95% of all shots fired in Iraq have missed they're marks, even by the trained soldiers. That's all due to the excitement of the whole situation.
I'd give rough statistics on the kill/wound ratio, but I just got a letter yesterday telling me I'm not fit for the armed forces because of a borderline case of asthma, even though I run 5-10 km each morning without the help of an inhaler.
Sorry for the personal rant there, but Wichita and Black Knight are right Schme.. Lots of people that get hit end up surviving.

[Moderation Edit (Anthony Roberts): Hey'a, let's get along, okay? SMILE! :)]

Anthony, you make it very very difficult for people to understand what it is you are taking about if they are not allowed to read what it is I wrote. They've no way of knowing what it is you mean.

What I said was

"No way? Really? I had no idea!

Listen, if you would have read what I wrote up there earlier, you would know that I've already addressed what you just said. So rather than making stupid one liner jokes, why do you not try and understand the argument, and then something to the discussion, rather than making foolish jokes. Unless you actually read what the others have written here, then your input is not worth anything."

Essentially. It was shorter before, I think.

Hahahahahaha! Your so very right, Witchita! Were I dead, then I would not be able to argue with you, thus making you right! You truly are a man of masterfull intellegence.

(I trust you know that I'm being sarcastic? Well, in any case, you do now.)

(Ie: Scheme, please be respectful to your other players. Get mad at Pie. Joking! But, no, really, everyone, please be respectful of your other players. I make stupid oneliners all the time, no one gets mad at me. And if they do, they find a stick in their eye. Point is, please be nice. Thanks!)

 I am curious to know what the comment was now....

Sounds like a very cautious government there, Goalie. But I get the feeling that being able to handle a 5 - 10 km run may not be quite as physically capable as handling the day long grind of a patrol.

My friend was telling about her IM chat with her brother in Iraq tonight. It sounded exhausting to say the least, and he is very athletic, perfect health, and yada yad yada.

I know it's hard, but I haven't used the thing in a year.
I just find it ridiculous when they whine about needing people and then turn them away for something that seriously doesn't affect me.
I can still join the brits after working a couple years on the rigs though :D

Just a question...

If Cantr is a society simulator, why do people play it if always will happen the same things in reality? Can we "remake" our idea of society here? Notice that society is a concept that is deeply inside of our minds

I keep saying that. "But in real life, such and such, blah blah blah..."

Well, it's a computer game we're we create societies, so let's create a society wherein the lack of whatever it is is a factor. Anyhow.

But your an internet moderator! We all know that everyone reveres and worships moderators of internet sites! Me and him, us, we're just people who use computers, no where close to your glory and nobility!

It's simply not fair. Why can't we all be like Anthony?

Because I'm too godly to let iniferiours like yourself come near my position? Maybe that's why?

Lol, a joke. I don't REALLY make stupid one liners. Do a search of my 2000+ posts and find me one. I stated that to get you all to be nice to each other.

Thank you! I think I have tried to say this a few times in the past, usually associated with people complaining about particular regions not being capitalistic or democratic enough. :D The possiblilites are endless so why don't we see if another system could work out.

As for realism, I would prefer to try and keep the physics of the game as realistic as is reasonable in order to keep the social developments in game as dependent on character interactions as possible.
