Overloaded ship?

Postby InsaneIrony » Fri Jul 29, 2005 9:15 pm

The SeaBlade in Karnon Seaside is stuck... Five people and plenty of resources are on it, but the key can't be handed back to the last person who walked onto the ship... There's a dead body on the ship, but they can't drag it off because none of them have the key... When the last guy walked onto the ship, he handed the key to the boat's owner who is on the shore, but now none can either get on or off, and they've already unloaded more than 15kg of meat... Is it a bug?

Umm... Some help? Thousands of grams of stuff were removed from the ship, but the key can't be handed back to someone on the ship, and no matter how little the keyholder is carrying, they can't get back on the ship... at least 20k grams of stuff have been removed already... I don't know if its a bug that the boat is still so 'heavy'... And just how much can a corpse weigh?

Why don't you just have the boat owner hand the key back?

The boat owner tried every time more things were handed off the ship. It can't be pulled onto the ship, can't be handed to any of them... They can't drag the body off because they don't have the key. After the last person got on the ship, everything else is just one-way... :( More than twenty thousand grams later, ten grams can't be handed back to the ship...

I think you can bury bodies on ships now, can't you? Like, under the boards I guess or it's like you're throwing them overboard.

Yup, one of my characters has assisted with a burial at sea. Dunno if it works while docked, though.

I tried clicking the bury button when on a floating ship and it gave an error, so I don't know how you've been able to bury someone on a boat.

May have been 'fixed', but I've done it too. It certainly has been possible.
