Firstly, to be directly on topic;

I think that there should be more words to describe the size of the group outside than just "many". You would notice if there were twice as many people as the usual lot.

And sort of on topic, I've been thinking that it would be nice if more things in Cantr had to be physically observed. I either saw a boat called "a canoe" today, or it has been changed so that you only see boat names when you actually look at the boat, not just see it come and go passively It said "you see a canoe undock").

These are just two examples of things that take away from the game's automation, without overcomplicating the game.

It should be exact number of people.

Why?
Because I don't want to waste my precious 200 minutes on counting people one by one in "People" menu. :twisted:

Why would you need to count people exactly anyway.

exact numbers

West's arguement about knowing the amount of an object down to the last grain just convinced me ENTIRELY.

*nods* It's very true, but I couldn't care less myself.

I vote to keep things as they are (exact numbers), because of all the possible conceivable priorities the programmers should be working on, this isn't it! :lol:

On the other thread:

Wouldn't that look better?
THANK YOU!! :)

I've been saying that for SO long - I voted yes for this - and I'd like to see it with other things, like how much damage you cause (a small scratch to a deep wound) how badly hurt someone is (looks perky to is badly wounded and near death) how hungry a character is (full up to starving) how thirsty etc.

Even how large a project is for resource gathering - set it to gather a small amount, a medium amount or a lot - maybe exact amounts would still have to be used with machines, and the exact amounts in grams displayed in inventories and so on, if only because that might be difficult to change...
Whoever you vote for.

The government wins.

I was thankful for exact numbers being used today. In a small town, my charrie is pretty much in charge, but must work inside a lot. So when he comes out, and sees there are not 11, but 15 people outside, that's a big change that he made note of out loud. Words would not show this change, which was important to him.
