Is it lack of interest or lack of time? Either way it may only be temporary, I've had the same problem before and later regretted losing my characters. My suggestion is just to send all your boring ones on a long trip. By the time they get where they're going you just might feel like playing again.
But this is a prime example of why I never make more characters than I can handle. I figure five fairly active characters are better for the game than fifteen that never speak, and even if I do get really busy or just sick of them it's easy to make preparations to keep them alive for awhile without my having to babysit.
(Actually, I'm getting very bored with one of mine right now. It'd be better if there was some interesting conversation to get involved with, but half the population sleeps and the other half just hits animals and whispers and barely responds to questions...)

The two are not separate issues. I only make time for things that interest me. Therefore, if I have no time, it is because I don't want to have time. Currently in my life, I'm undertaking a pretty major blogging project (I'm video blogging), trying to start up a new business, leaving my old job, and grieving for my cat, who is dying.
Needless to say, in the face of much more important things, Cantr just seems to be very... meh.

Like when one of my charecters names are lit if there not charecter im to into or not really or dont really care about Ill just wait a few days then check up on them, Its the oposite tho for my important charectersangelus wrote:I admit, I often check my chars... but when someone speaks to them, I will often not answer until much later... yes, I am evil.

Playing cantr is a obligation?..... As real as cantr is Its a only game and its not like there your charecters are your pets or something. If you dont want to get on cantr then just dont, I mean. If im bored with a charecter or dont reall give a damn about them im just gonna let them get the sleep sickness. I mean why play cantr if its not fun?. If you feel its a "chore" to check up on your charecters do some thing bad, steal or hit every one in town and then run then all your problems for that charecters are gone or if you really ambitious you can just keep attacking your self until your dead
You are the perfect drug.....

It's very hard to explain.. I guess it stems from not wanting to let people down who you RP with, if you just let your charrie fall silent, and it's one who frequently interacted with a charrie of another player, there bound to get a little pissed

No, I think it was when you were sleeping. There's this old lady that hasn't been out of her house in ages, Ken saw she was jumpy and wanted to be extra friendly and careful but he was so happy when she gave him food when they were running low all and so he hugged her. Poor old nutter...
