Anyway, Lopan stayed inside because he had stuff to do. And because he didn't like the way the forest was going... now, how effectual was she? Lopan never listened to a word she said. And he was not? As long as any people on that island follow the Order, he was not ineffectual.

As for jealousy? :shock: Perhaps you'd like to explain that?

You know, writing this post... I'm really not surprised that my character didn't like yours... it just doesn't surprise me at all.

No really dude I was honestly wondering the same thing. Was he jealous of Dismai? :lol:


As to how effectual Dismai was to the Forest, well... everything Nick now runs is because of her. The forest is how it is today because of her being there with Nick

Meh.

Fair enough. Not how Lopan saw her... he really hated her. Maybe that coloured his (my) judgement. :roll:

There were reasons why he hated her. But I'm not sure I can really be bothered to explain.

Did you see The Surly Cantrian's post earlier about how Lopan was hiding inside doing his own thing because of how the Forest was being ran BEFORE they took over.

Going back in the conversation a little...

I will be the first person to agree that Karnon is trying to expand. That much is obvious. But I strongly disagree that Karnon has a better reputation than TBR simply because of OOC reasons.

We have a better rep because we don't try to kill people when we try to takeover/encroach into a place. Long ago Nayr and Vernes adopted a peaceful expansion program that involved our outpost building. Nayr truly believes that it is the best way to build a lasting unification of territories. Unlike Grant and TBR, we very rarely try to impose our will on anyone. And it is a legit strategy that has earned us the trust of the island while TBR's tactics have earned them a death mark in certain areas. Power players shouldn't be so quick to discredit the Republic's methods.

The only char I have on that island that cares at all about the Tribe is against them simply because of what she's been told. She has no first-hand experience with TBR.
