After about 5 views, I believe.

Or just press 'hide all'...

Oh, thank you for pointing out the "hide all" button, but I have been using that.

Perhaps if I word it differently.

Does the Events page purge itself after a certain amount of time passage? Or does the text just always stay there, and just continues to stack up, never purging itself?

It purges it after you load the events page about 5 times (as was already pointed out), and the information is stored for a total of 7 days (when you click show all, it shows 7 days worth).

The activities page is searchable, why not the events page? I don't know how hard searching by person would be, probably involve some kind of table join, but that would be very useful when trying to sort out one particular conversation...

Even if it was searchable, you still wouldn't be able to search for somthing said that was Directed at you but not whispered. It'll start with " **** Says:" and not "**** says to YOU:"

Do what I do if you get tired of all the mindless chatter. Find a smaller town or find a job inside with a half dozen of your character's closest friends.

...Provided your character HAS friends.

IE has a search function built in. I don't know about other browsers, but if you really need to search for something in your events page, just do that.

same, but just searching for "you" is a bit pointless.

The way the events menu is now doesn't have to be changed. It could stay the same, with sub-menu options to narrow it up. But sometimes there's like 100 lines of things I have to search through. And usually i'm trying to find only relevant stuff to my character.

... every entry start with 'you' :P

I usually search for 'to you'

Anyways - just be patient - the Cantr events page requires a little practice. before long, you'll have a page left for two days in a city of 70+ charries and have no trouble at all skim-reading it for the important bits...

I could use the search function. Or a option to show only messages you are interested in could be shown. Such as having the option of looking at reading messages said by only certain people.

I doubt you're going to get any sympathy from Jos if you find outside too loud.
