Lord Nick's paranoid about Karnon, and I find that funny, considering they haven't killed a tribesman since the time of Grant. (Did they even do that then? I wasn't around as a player at that time.)
Nick is paranoid about them, it is a belief of his that they want to go back into the old days of Ace Grant (jules and nayr anyway). Also it wasnt only TBR in the Forest in the time of Ace Grant, I am sure west could give you a better run down on what happened back then, but I'm pretty sure no TBR died then, only Karnon soliders.

Obviously there is some bad and they know it so they try to manipulate the situation aka lie about it. TBR is a show of force type of people, they dont go set up "outposts for protection" I dont see how people could buy into that, you let them build an outpost you let them have the town.

I am obviously one that voted against Karnon Imperial. I think they manipulate people of the towns they build those outposts in, they build the outpost and then basically claim it as their own after that and I am pretty sure that was an opinion held by a few different people. They are slowly working towards Island domination with Jules and Nayr.
(What I said my be crossing that line Oasis was talking about, Im not sure though. If let me know and I can remove it.)
