Docking Error

Postby Ahoyhoy » Thu Jul 21, 2005 3:05 am

I'm in Olipifirovash Forest on the fisherman's wharf dock on a sloop. When I try to undock it says...ERROR: For some reason, there is no direction in which can be undocked.=

Yep, happened to me too. Good luck with that.

*sighs* Back then I figured the reason ..... oh, yes, the angle in which you approached the dock, probably.

So, can you mail the ships name to bugs@cantr.net? And I presume you docked from the sea?

People are just asking for bugs when they try to dock to a town that does not border a sea.

If it appears in your docking options....

I have had a sailor of mine dock and undock from there several times without any difficulties. He started from the sea, came inland and ran across the lake a few times, then exited to the sea again.

I was wondering if there was a, er, in-game reason for this error?

Now THAT's funny!

But what I was trying to get at is if there is something happening in game that accounts for this message (e.g. too much weight on the boat, too many people aboard, etc.). Not that you have to say what it is, that's the fun of figuring it out, but whether this is a factor or not.

Look just put my boat out on sea and I won't care.

Can we get this fixed, please? I have a character on this boat, too. And since it seems there is no in-game reason for the boat to be stuck, I presume it to be a bug.

Please fix or my character is going to drown trying to push the boat away from the dock.

I don't know what else to do, I have mailed bug@cantr.net, I posted on flyspray, and I posted on here. It's been a week since this error first occurred and it really sucks.

I'm guessing this was fixed...??

More fuel for my character, I guess...
