Potholes and road decay
There are currently expressways running through areas of the game that have seen massive population declines since dynamic spawning was implemented. Shouldn't roads -slowly- decay over time? Maintaining them should be a minimal effort, but if left unmaintained, they should rot down to paths eventually.

I'd hate to see your To Do list...
Any idea if a universal system for dealing with decay and repairing will be designed and implemented across the whole of Cantr?

I like it. I like anything that encourages governments to stay on their toes and take a little more interest in their town.
But no oil required please, it's hard enough to get as it is. Maybe some sand, because it needs more uses anyway, and a shovel and a little time?
Also, and this is more related to building roads than repairing, but can we please get a use for the wheelbarrow?

If all of these things are going to start decaying, it should be easier to repair decayed items. I mean would a bone knife in real life really take a day to repair? No. Does it take a day to make a stone hammer? No. So if a Cantr day is not really the equivalent of a real life day, why after like 300 days is a brand new crowbar all but decayed.
If we don't watch out, all anyone will be doing in Cantr is repairing items.

Well, if they follow Sociologist's suggestions (AND THEY SHOULD!), repairs will take up a lot less time, and require a small amount of resources instead. This would give towns a reason to keep production and trade going, and extra time to do it with.
Oh, and about crowbars, I think the real question should be, why does a new crowbar take over 3 days to repair?
