Objects on paths

Postby Crosshair » Mon Apr 04, 2005 12:29 pm

There was a recent happening in a place far away where some newspawn stole a lot of steel, aproximately 1100g, and fled, he was shot on the path, dead. but we couldn't get the steel back because it dissapears on a path. how about adding the hunting script to people on paths, when you kill a theif or something on a path, your gona plunder his body aint you, to get back the stolen goods, so why not add the hunting script, so when he dies from your arrow/sword hit/ punch etc. his resources appear in your inventory, maybe not his items, but his resources.

It, erm... doesn't disappear, if I remember right. It just appears somewhere you may not expect.

You'll need to look in the right place... And I don't really want to tell you more than that.

No, not a sabre. That was a broadsword.

I know what happends to the things, but you gotta wonder....if a suicidal newspawn dies near Brunoi Forest and no one is there to hear it, does he make a sound?

I'd go for no. It says 'you see' when someone's killed, doesn't it? No sound implied.
