Knowing that the scythe exists and is a farming tool and at the same time a weapon, AND could be seen as a symbol of death (maybe), has it ever been witnessed in battle?SekoETC wrote:why not substitute some swords for a sickle/scythe? That would give them a bit of a practical use during peace time.
I guess you can assume that I'm wondering if those pointless weapons are still in combat use today.Talapus wrote:The game already has enough pointless weapons that the RD won't even consider any new weapons unless they have something special about them. Something that distinguishes them from the other weapons out there.
I mean, scythes have a two-way function, but if they ever weren't in a soldier's hands, it maybe because of the always more powerful weapons like the battle-axe, claymore, and crossbow.
But really, sometimes you have to consider the resources you have available, the time to get them, and the people willing to wield it. Is it really only then that the pointless weapons like the scythe could exist in war?
Okay, maybe the scythe is a bad example, but I hope you get the point.
