Yeah you're right it's not pathetic. It's an heroic action.

Shoot, someone found out. It's time to revive the thread Arenti stop posting. Imagine how annoyed everyone will be with me posting all the time as long as the game is down.

hmm ... isn't that against the rules? But maybe it is one of those which can be bent.

Totally lame.

Someone who will kill the hacker?

If rape - rape princesses
If steal - steal millions
If hack... hack the damn CIA or whatever, not poor leetle Cantr, dammit!
Killing such a person wouldn't be pathetic. Quite the opposite. It would be an honourable act of mercy for that poor, crooked soul

Well, a daily report is an official record. But I just thought I read it somewhere. I can't verify it now as both the cantr and the wiki sites are down.

But I do think it is important that people do not save information, externally out of the game, even if it is tough to control. Imagine the following situation. A char goes for a fight. But before doing so, he cleans out all the problematic notes on himself and his house etc. But the player stores all those notes on his comp. If the char is killed, the killer won't find those notes. But if the char survives, he again has access to all his notes, which I think is a little unfair.

Can be summed up to memory.

I have several event logs on my computer and I don't see them as breaching the rules in any way, since they can only be considered my characters' memories, just like Ryaga said. If we lose something in this rollback, I might give the missing parts from the event log to this one particular character I was interacting with since I doubt we would be repeating private dialog, but in general I would never copy event logs into the game. It's totally lazy when people do that. But copypasting events to notepad and saving them makes it more handy to recall past events in the future since you can fit several days on it, cut off the irrelevant stuff such as people hunting and sneezing, and it won't have stuff from several characters on it. I probably won't remember which day something happened unless referring to my characters' diaries in-game, but if I label things like "other character's name1", "other character's name2" I know they will contain important scenes in chronological order and I know where to look instead of having to search my mailbox. Especially since the search seems to be broken recently. I only wish I would've saved more stuff this way.

Well... when we find out who the hacker was... I say we all meet at this persons house and well... use your imagination.
