And if you ever can get a hermit to tell a tale, they are some of the best tales to hear.

Interesting discussion! :) ...

To get rid of the tree-branched buildings, we need the grid, so that we have walls instead of rooms :) ... I'm thinking about it, but it'll be a 2.0 thing.

Communities inside buildings would be possible, though, of course, especially once we've implemented the children (since then characters can start inside a building - can even never come outside :) ...).

you'd have to have animals able to go inside as well then, so they have a food source

well then you would have to go outside and acknowlegde the world, for total isolation you need an internal food source

HMMM 20 something buildings. It makes you wonder is there a limit to how many buildings can be help in one building. Also if you can have that many buildings surely inside the number of stone you will need will go down or the outside walls up

Well, when you build another building inside a building, you aren't building it inside. You are pretty much knocking down a wall and building another building attatched to the already existing building.

I hope that better explains it.

oh i see but still wouldnt that mean one side of the new building already has a wall and so surely you would still have less stone

If food resources were finite or the number of projects to gather at a location was finite, then there would be farmers who would be paid to grow food.

Cantr City had/has/will have a good system with a limited amount of ovens.

After the lastest issues people may be more likely to do what they can inside and give the food makers keys to get to everywhere.
