But Polish spelling is pretty opaque to most English speakers looking for cognates...

in 10 sec. with google I've found this http://lightning.prohosting.com/popolsku/
And there are hundreds of websites like this one...

Still a pretty steep learning curve. But thanks.

I can vaguely make out what that's about, but I guess it illustrates the point I've no means of judging your tone, assuming I got the literal bits right. Wouldn't frequuent and clumsy misunderstandings be frustrating for fluent speakers?

Zazwyczaj agresorzy i cywilizacje lepiej rozwiniete narzucaja swoj jezyk slabszym ludziom.

It's just too hard. There are many characters on English islands with -accents-, which is fine, but nobody really want to hear a bunch of babel-fish nonsense from beginners. Do you?

OK. So help us out with a CANTR wordlist and some useful phrases that sound natural. And don't punish incompetent newspawn.

Note: Whether or not OOC wordlists are available, an English-spawned character should not know Polish when he first arrives in a Polish area.

I see this situation in game now and it's good, but I think english players avoid it. I hope this topic can change it? I think when english players are in polish-cultural area they must learn polish and not teach polish players english too much. I fear english players are always teaching english foreigners like in real life.
