Okay, so I suppose that's a CR breach, but I will remember all names OOC. So who's for starting the Society of Cantrian Name Remembrance with me?

Some ideas are not so bad...
I put on my char such a good idea, she said to everybody, let´s point at the paths and if you know to what place it leads, just say it; and she began... This way leads to this "x" place....
Such a good idea ain´t it?
Because I sincerely prefer the oldest names than ... Skwiddville
OOOh just a joke... El_Skwidd my friend.. the only one that talks in the Spanish forum (besides me of course, because I am the queen of the Spanish Forum.... eeeeeeh Viva LatinaGirl)
Such a good idea ain´t it?

In developed areas, the only way really to change the name of a place is to enforce changes to all the old maps throughout a region. There are few if any regional organizations with the power to do so. If I had the energy I'd try to enforce that in the case of New Xanth (Akypor Forest South), but I've more than enough on my plate right now.

Well, the character in one place established himself as a region's leader (there was nobody there to refute that except his people) and no buildings that mentioned any sort of alternative. He did this just before the name change, and so when there is no name to the place, he declares it to be "Place X" and so it is, to all who will ever arrive...
