Help again

Postby Yo_Yo » Tue Jul 29, 2003 2:53 pm

I was wondering if it would mess up the system if a supprise attack were to happen on a city. This attack would be very swift, and kill around 30 or so people. Would that just dissrupt the game flow, or the game itself? I was wondering this when you all made the announcement about un-subscribing then re-subscribing. And I would reveal the location of the place that would be attacked, but someone might break the capital rule and suddenly decide to make some shielding.

Because it is in-game, it isn't a problem. The problem is when people unsubscribe and kill 15 people from all over Cantr, w/out any ic game-play. That is very disruptive.

Just make sure any coordination and planning you do to get more than one person involved in this attack happens *in-game*. It's perfectly legitimate to make arrangements for logins at a specific time in-game: "Hey, Joe, we're going to start the attack right at 555-5:5. Be sure you're ready for it." It's *not* perfectly legitimate for you to rustle up your buddies and make plans for the attack face-to-face or over an instant messenger.

Hmm...this seems interesting, should I have to worry for my beloved characters now? :(

Thank you. You both answered my questions. And Pirog, I can't say if you should fear any other person in that game. I can't even give away what region it is in. Let me just say that I am... reliving an old legend.

I don't believe the rules have changed since then. What is it you want to know?
