[CantrSpy] logging in

Postby MelloYell » Sat Dec 17, 2011 5:00 pm

a very small thing, and its honestly not that big of an issue, but cantrspy no longer automatically logs you in and goes to your player page.

I added [CantrSpy] tag to thread title to not confusing people ;) psychowico

We know about it, the author of this program has been informed about this.

This is a preview of my proposed fix to the problem. I'm not publishing it yet because it has yet to be tested on many operating systems - however, those who are desperate to get the functionality back can assist me by telling me if it works and on what operating system.

I'm aware that this doesn't work with the default desktop environment in Ubuntu 11.10. I have also discovered that, frustratingly, Adobe has stopped supporting AIR for Linux, and this is probably related. So it may be necessary to write the Linux version in something other than AIR.

The Linux problem isn't related to this problem. I just happened to discover it at the same time. In fact, I don't believe any version would run properly in that configuration of Ubuntu.

Cantrspy has stopped taking my credentials. I'll post back if it starts working again.

Mine hasn't worked since we moved to the new server. I've had over half a year of "invalid user credentials", now I constantly get "invalid server response". Nothing I have tried seems to help.
