I know we can see our own skills, but could we see other character's skills when we look at them? I'm thinking it would be an automatic addition to their Description page, but only if you were looking at the page when the character was doing the activity.
So, if Mr. Smith is building a car for several days, and various townspeople happened to view what he was doing, it would add that Mr. Smith is not only wearing copper bracelets and a feather boa, but is also quite skillful at building vehicles. That information would still be listed the next time he stops to farm potatoes.
This way, town leaders (or miscreants!) can track who is good at what while they are in town. My town leaders would know to ask Tom, Melinda, and Mr. Slug to stop farming carrots because they are bad at it and get them to start cooking up meat or burying people--whatever is their strongest skill.
I'm not sure how the programming would work but wouldn't it be something like "If Town Leader loads Mr. Slug Description Page, add 'Manufacturing weapons--Awkward' to list."

For those who play ADOM (single-player RPG) they have what is called a 'monster memory,' when you see a monster do a certain thing (eg. teleportation) it is automatically noted, and when you recall that monster it will say such a thing. It is also possible for you to remember something that is untrue - e.g. that all goblins are invisible since the goblin you saw drank a potion of invisibility.
In a similar way, each character in Cantr could be able to automatically remember how skilled other characters are at certain tasks, and have their knowledge displayed on the character page, similar to how a characters own skills are displayed.
Some questions:
- Would you be required to click on a character's 'character page' to notice that someone is skilled at their current task? Or would it be better to notice automatically?
- What happens if someone tells you that they're good at digging, for example? Should you be able to remember that?

Agree with Chris. Roleplay paying attention. We don't need the computer to do all the work for us, and going to an instant display of all skills is like giving charcaters ESP (well, more than they already have.
