I have skills?

Postby sgb » Wed Mar 01, 2006 7:59 am

According to the Wiki we all have a whole bunch of skills. Is there any way of finding out what they are for my characters? It doesn't seem unreasonable that one would know one's own level of proficiency at various tasks, but it does seem like a nuisance to not only have to start a project of each type just to see what my efficiency level is, but to then record that for next time I'm curious...

I would have thought this would be on our character pages, but I don't see it there. Am I missing something?

You have to actually try projects and actions to find out your efficiency at them. It's much more fun to be pleasantly surprised or drastically disappointed by finding out these things as you go and have need of doing things, imo. It's not really that difficult to find them out anyway.

There is talk about making skills more visible to the player, but these will probably only be those skills you have actually used in the past, not ones you have never used. So you will still have to test these

Having our skills recorded once we've used them would be nice. I guess you should really have to try something once to know how good you are at it...

Well, there's an objective for me!

Thanks :)
