Are we doing CRB?

Postby SCUBA » Fri Jan 27, 2006 6:45 pm

I, my brother and one of our employees play cantr during breakes on our barncomputer. Now during lambingseeson we spend a hell lot of time in the barn. But there is some time to play also. :D

As we have only one computer and all three are very involved in what happens we almost always play together. Therefor all of us know all of our chars. This also means that we have got a good idea of how the swedish part of the game looks like. We think we are very strikt with the CR and use dice every time there is a desision to make like wich road to take for a char that shouldent know there to go. As we are three we check each other pretty much not to make CRB. but maybe all this itself is a CRB?

I should also say that we have our chars spread over the three acounts we have, because I opend the first acount and we all played on that later my brother opend one and now when they both are full Erik opend one.

Most of what you say is not breaking the rules, as such, but it's a bit scary. Don't be surprised if you get PD questions at some time ;) ... From our perspective it might well happen that we can't see the difference anymore between legitimate play and illegitimate play, and then we have to find a solution. After all, anyone having multiple accounts can say that it's 'family' or 'friends' ;) ...

That is definitely totally unacceptable. You'll have to write the PD which chars belong to which player account, and we'll swap them.

But again, I have to warn you, it sounds like you guys are trying hard to play properly, but it is very, very much borderlining ...

An alternative solution might be to use just one account and play together. For the PD that doesn't look like multiple accounts and they can just stick to checking that your chars don't cooperate.

*smiles*

Saskia, my wife, plays on the dutch islands and I play on the english islands. We never met since. But you're with three.
Not that good.

In complete agreement with Jos here, up until his last paragraph. :P

I have to say, the PD does not condone the use of one account by more than one person. This is actually quite strictly forbidden, and any time this is discovered to be the case, the other player is asked to start their own account.

Scuba, thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Players Department will be in contact with you as soon as possible to discuss things with you and your brothers, and to get your characters sorted onto the right accounts.
