Throwing cargo overboard

Postby SekoETC » Fri Jun 10, 2005 6:03 pm

...Would be right for them pirates. Even though you've wasted years of your life gathering resources, there are situations where you are ready to destroy them instead of letting someone else have them. And in the moment the only way to do this is to start loads of projects that can't be finished, which is a CRB.

Would you be able to do this on boats that are neither on sea nor lake? There is at least one that I know of. It might finally be a way to get rid of trash notes though

If it's nowhere near water it would be logical if things dropped overboard would end up on the ground outside so that doesn't fill the purpose. If you're in the harbor then you might toss things into the water but it's probably so shallow some of the items/resources could be gotten back with diving. Though if they're there long, they'd rust or rot or start growing sea weed.

Not to mention bodies. For as long as you can be bothered dragging them, of course.

Exept Cantr doesn't have bottles. Yet. Oooh I wanna be a glass blower!!!!

But corpses float and if you wanted to keep them in the bottom, you'd have to attach weight to them. Or corpses would get washed on the shores (provided we get currents). If you could jump off a boat or throw living people off a boat that would be cool. But it would be like a dragging project in the latter case.

And maybe dumping cargo would also be a project, to avoid some newspawn sneaking on your boat and throwing everything overboard. That would be funny though.
