Matching speed button

Postby Yo_Yo » Wed May 25, 2005 8:07 am

Wouldn't it be super useful if you could use it while your in a vehicle? Its kinda hard to even begin to match your speed to someone on foot, not to mention you're not even able to tell how fast they are going by clicking on thier name (I guess thats what the button is called?) tab. It just seems like a backwars way of doing things, since I have a much better chance at matching someones speed in my car then say someone on foot.

Yes, yes, yes, just what I was thinking of suggesting. But one little thing, add a mention about vehicles into the title because otherwise people might think, "oh great, someone whining about the colour again", and miss that it's in fact about an important thing that should be done quickly. Currently it's totally impossible to match speed when one is in a vehicle and another one walking (or if they are in two separate vehicles) because there's not even a hint of wether you're going faster or slower. The only way is to check how many percents you proceed in an hour and say it, and I'm thinking saying the numerical data in character is always poor play.

Yeah, I like this idea.

Either that, or at least being able to see how fast a vehicle is going.

Go post your support for the idea, or further suggestions. We'll bludgeon programming into implementation through popular demand...

No no, please don't clutter Flyspray with unneccesary chatter. More messages will not make it getting implemented faster ...

Whiles we're tlaking about fixing vehicle travel problems, you think we could see when people turn around while we're in vehicles. perhaps even other vehicles?
