There's only one sure way to know that a certain person, maybe with very much authority, gives you a message, that is by being told. Person 1 talking to person 2. Is there another way? Signatures, stamps or "sealrings" maybe?

That ought te be nice, it would help command your troops far away.
Not that good.

Something similar exists I believe. Of course it is next to impossible to produce, but...

Your signatures sound more like cellphones.

Many places have set up couriers to deliver messages, but no one has ever set up telephone poles to my knowledge.

The quickest way to communicate in cantr is walking it. Death sensing may or may not be a cr breach, but I'd sure like to know why a man in his twenties is volentering to be a smokesignal for all in game reasons.
Reality was never my strong point.

I think it's very easy to find out IG actually so I'm not sure it would be right for me to say, anyway...I'd say it's quite obvious.

I guess me as a player is not up to the game, so my chars have to suffer... :( It's like playing with Lego without knowing how to make you puppets hold a sword

Ask around in character. While the great mass of rice-pickers might never have bothered to find out, there are plenty of experienced leaders and hoarders of knowledge around.

wulf, like this?:

Peter says: "oh great leader of Karnon, could you tell me how to send messages to my followers so that my followers will know I am the sender?"
Great leader of Karnon says: "Of course I can pathetic Peter, I know how it works, let me explain it to you as if you are my own son. I've got nothing better to do anyway"
Great leader of Karnon says: "listen well Peter the Small, and you will learn... First..."

I don't think so. It would be a strange question to ask ic. Any other opinions or idea?

It would not be strange at all to ask something like that in Cantr.

How about "What would you recommend to be the best way ..." a.s.o. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with the rest.

You really have to look a little harder in your build/manufacture menu ;) ... They're already there!

Well I must say that sealing envelopes is completely useless and god save you if you seal an envelope with nothing in it. It is way to easy to copy the seal.

Well if the Cantr god says so...

But I checked it again and I'm sure I can't find it. Is there maybe a list in dutch? Maybe I just don't know the correct english word. It'd be very handy for me. :)

Maybe I should try and make one myself. hmmm...
