Gift Bag

Postby AngelSpice » Fri Apr 29, 2005 1:48 am

My charry wants one for the wedding gift she's making her fiance. It could be a single use storage holding 500g, made out of paper, like the envelopes and you could type To: and From: on it.

West is just astonished that someone making a suggestion could use proper grammar. Don't mind him.

It's an interesting idea, really, however, would need to be programmed. It WOULD be possible to make a gift bag, that can store 500 grams of a resource, however...

...It would not be a one time use...
...It could not have the "To:" & "From:" on it...
...It won't look pretty.

Would it be able to store a finished product or just resources?

Containers are unable to store objects at this time, only resources. It's a programming restraint that we're attempting to remove.

Oh, well. It was a nice thought while it lasted.

How am I ever going to ship barrels of swords across the border with that restriction? (also we should be able to drag storage objects onto vehicles...but that's pretty low-priority)

Storage objects and vehicles, mind you. Again, something with a silly programming restraint.

However, as we all know, Programming has their hands tied with much more important tasks at hand. Such as this naming dealy, or the destroying objects over time thingy project, and that one thing with the moving thing to... forget it.
