Attacked on boat

Postby SickGerm » Wed Apr 13, 2005 9:36 pm

I thought you couldn't be attacked on vehicles and even if you can thats all well and good but the rules were changed recently like today and noone was told but yet someone who was not twenty attacked me when i should have been safe on the boat the only way they could've done so would be with ooc information i suggest that when the programmer change rules because they are having a rpoblem with someone they at least inform everyone else as this infringement on the capitol rule is not fair to everyone who does not know changes this big.

But if I understand right, they could argue you were exploiting a bug by hiding on the boat.

a bug everyone knows about and has been accepted for a long time as normal and other people have exlpoted many time before why all of a sudden change? ill tell you why the life of a programmer was threatened so anly when it benifited him did he bother to fix it and then nooone knows about it except him if i had known i would have undocked not fair to everyone else and definatly a CR breach

No this is not a Cr breach, the bug has been fixed as clearly stated in the thread I had started. Your characters should not have known about the bug in the first place and assumed they can be attacked anywhere except when they hide inside of a building thats locked. I find it funny you accuse Thomas of cheating with this bug simply becuase he finally had found enough time to fix it.

Reallly I think this is enough, could this be locked?

Sorry, my life was not threatened. Or maybe it was, and I was unaware of it.

Or maybe you meant to say that my character's life was threatened. That must have been about a year ago then, when I stopped playing. If I bothered to fix it back then, I don't understand your surprise today, really.

Anyway, whatever you seem to believe, exploiting any bugs in any way is not acceptable, no matter what 'everyone else' does.
