the throat slit long range signal

So my friend (the indutriallist) and I were talking about cantr and he mentioned that people's names cease to be dynamic once they die. This means that you can tell if someone has died no matter where they may be by checking an action they made and seeing if it has ceased to be dynamic. We realized that you could concievably use this as a sgnal! Just kill the predecided char at the right time and your cohort in a town you had been in knows instantly that it's time to act. It's not very practical, but still possible.... I just thought that was interesting.

With a five day limit on that action.

I also noticed the other day that you can check on the health {smiley face} of anyone you've ever seen. Same five day limit.

Maybe the limit is just due to me hitting the turn report button everyday.

I've noticed that before too. Using it as a signal might be against the capital rule...although I have used it as a foreboding thing, or as an intuition for some of my chars. Never made anything rely on it though.
