One of my characters (Odur in Olip) has become very, very tired from simply gathering cotton.
The thing is that another person has been helping him, and she is barely tired at all. He could of course simply be a lousy cotton picker, but I got suspicious that he might for some reason add tiredness from her participation in the project...
Possible bug...

Correct me if any of my assumptions are wrong.
I suspect your project has repeats. I also suspect that people other than project initiators do not get tired from aiding in a project.
That should be a bug, due to some interesting possibilites. Like a gang off tool wielding assassins come into town and finish a bunch of projects that the town leader started but hasn't finished, and he gets loaded up with tiredness, then the assassins kill him with ease, since he can't defend himself now that he's so tired.
In any case, I do not think this is working as intended.

Reality was never my strong point.

From what I have experienced, a worker can become tired from working on a project initiated by someone else, or certainly at least where that person has left town. Some of those old abandoned projects can be very dangerous, and ones with hourly repeats are really very bad news.
As for rates of tiredness, some people may well be affected more than others, and there's an "urban legend" going around that gloves help.
