Some chars not consuming food

Some of my chars have food that is readily edible, but are getting the "you are hungry message" and losing strength.

Some of my chars have food that is readily edible and are getting the "You ate such and such" message, but are losing strength without being injured by anything.

All of the affected chars were recently spawned, but not all of my recent spawns are having the problem.

If char names are needed, I can PM them.

I have not seen this situation on any of my characters.....but it makes me wonder....do the affected characters all have the same food type?

Maybe a change has been made to the available food chain, so that it must be processed? This wouldn't suprise me too much after all the oven thread where it was brought up by several people including me, that the current food supply chain is odd in the sense that one can eat some foods raw that you would not expect to such as rice and potatos. Perhaps the food your characters hold is no longer a valid raw food source. There is going to be lots of starving people shortly, if that is the case - A CANTR FAMINE! it would be very exciting in some ways, again shifting the balance of power.

I would be curious to learn what type of food they have, which might offere some insights. Of course, this could be IC information that you might not want to share if you do find a pattern to it.

I don't see a "pattern" in the foodtypes. One has potatoes, but other of my chars who aren't affected also have potatoes. One has cooked meat, but so do some other of my chars.
