Character Hits Self, Skill Level Displays Differently?

Character Hits Self, Skill Level Displays Differently?

You novicely hurts you using a waster. You lose 0 percent strength. You awkwardly saved 0 percent using your tortoiseshell shield.


Had a character hit itself out of boredom. Looks like their skill level is displaying differently - novice and awkward in the attack messages. In skill list, it remains at awkward. I seem to remember this happening before, but I can't remember what the reasoning was. Somebody enlighten me?

It's not a bug. Awkward fighters can always hit themselves at a novice level.
